Skin Matters was founded in 2001 by Lisa Mangrum, a licensed aesthetician. In addition to Skin Matters, Lisa worked at Dermatology Consultants. Lisa specializes in custom skincare and a variety of laser modalities that treat skin conditions and skin types.
Dr. Ben Stong, MD, FACS is the medical director at Skin Matters. Dr. Stong is dual board certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.Dr. Stong completed his undergraduate education at Emory and medical school at the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine. He returned to Emory to complete both his internship in general surgery and his residency in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Following his residency, Dr. Stong went on to complete a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Manhattan.
