I was a little disappointed to find that Skin Matters now has signs all over the business 'encouraging' tipping for the technicians. I feel I pay enough for the services, which should cover the salary of the technicians, without me having to spend more by tipping. Perhaps you should re-visit that. Monica was very professional and I felt like she had sanitized the equipment and chair more than adequately when I sat down for my treatment. My first session of laser hair removal went just fine. I can't use the numbing cream b/c I am nursing, but it did not hurt too bad at all....not as bad as waxing. The staff was helpful and the office is nice enough.

I went into parking garage, parked, found the office, went in,filled out paperwork. Then was taken into room, lasered, left and got out of parking lot in less than 20 minutes, so I would say it was pretty efficient. No pain, no redness, nothing. Am amxious to try it again.

I was super scared to get a Brazillian laser removal done, but I went in and braved it. I had Monica and she is the best. I felt SUPER comfortable, not as stupid after all as I did in the beginning and she was really nice to talk to. It wasn't awkard, and the pain was minimal. It felt like a little zap, very little, and a hot one at that, not too hot but a little warm. The waiting room was the only unfortunate part, WAY to small, but it was nice for conversation and meeting new moms!

I had the one-hour teeth whitening. While it was painless, it was definitely semi-uncomfortable. But the staff at Skin Matters made it as pleasant of an experience as it could possibly be. I showed up 10 minutes early, but was taken right in and the procedure started immediatly (allow about 1.5 hours for the whole thing). The office is very clean and the people who work there are so nice. I will definitely go back!
